Giant Dalek hovers over Belfast

“The watchful eye of a massive 100ft Dalek has been keeping the people of west Belfast under scrutiny.”

“The giant artwork is made of bed linen and has been placed on the Black Mountain to promote a charity convention for sci-fi fans at the Europa hotel.”

“I got permission from the woman who owns the field to do it,” said Denis Rush of the UT Events group, who created the artwork.

“She was only too happy to help when she heard that the convention is in aid of the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice. I must have asked every single member of my family for any spare bed sheets they had.”
